A 53-Piece Basic Kit for Craniotomy Access and Dural Work

Skull surgery asks for a short list of specialist tools and plenty of backup for the common ones. This 53-piece basic craniotomy kit pairs Cushing brain forceps, Ruskin and Luer bone rongeurs, a Stille-Liston bone forceps and a Taylor dural scissors with probe tip with Gigli saw wire in two lengths and solid bar handles for bone access.

Inside the Set

Soft-tissue exposure: two Jansen and two Weitlaner retractors, all blunt.
Working stock: 12 Halsted mosquito forceps, 6 Backhaus towel clamps and 4 Foerster sponge forceps.
Cutting and closing: five scissors, two Mayo-Hegar needle holders and scalpel handles #3, #4 and #7, plus a cover for the instrument tray.
Right-sized: Cushing brain forceps are 7", Taylor dural scissors 5-1/2" and the Stille-Liston bone forceps 10-1/2" for deeper access.
