Ballenger septum gouge is utilized in nasal reconstructive medical procedures. It comprises of a straight level handle, a dainty short neck and a long rectangular shaft that closes with a V-formed cutting sharp edge. The cutting edge has a uniform width and highlights an adjusted obtuse edge, which encourages the lifting of delicate tissues from their basic bone. The general length is 15 cm and this included sharp edge is 2 mm wide. Other accessible widths extend from 4 mm to 8 mm.
