A 25-Piece Tray for Rib Cartilage and Bone Graft Harvest

Harvesting rib bone or costal cartilage takes the right edge, the right leverage and a clean field. The Walter Set packs 25 pieces for rib graft harvesting: two Doyen rib raspatories in left and right, Giertz rib shears, two Stille osteotomes and three Lexer gouges, plus a Beyer rongeur and a plastic-faced mallet for surgical centers and hospitals.

Built Around the Procedure

Bone holding: Dingman and Langenbeck bone holding forceps and an Obwegeser periosteal elevator.
Exposure: a Volkmann retractor and two Weitlaner retractors in 13 cm and 16.5 cm.
Soft-tissue basics: Metzenbaum slim and operating scissors, dressing, tissue and Gillies forceps, and a Mayo-Hegar needle holder.
Gouges and osteotomes: Lexer gouges in 10, 15 and 20 mm and Stille osteotomes 12 and 20 mm wide.
