Converse Alar Retractor: Curved Blade, 12 cm

The Converse alar retractor (12 cm) has a curved blade that lifts the alar rim to expose the lower lateral cartilages in rhinoplasty. It gives the surgeon a clear view of the cartilage without pulling hard on the skin.

Lift the Rim

The curve fits under the alar rim and holds it up, leaving both hands free for the work. Double sharp prongs on this model engage the tissue firmly, so the retraction stays in place.
