A 262-Piece Master Tray Built for Open Heart Surgery

Open heart surgery needs chest access, rib spreading, vascular control and cardiac clamping in one case, and this 262-piece master set stocks all four. Burford-Finochietto, Tuffier and Bailey-Gibbons instruments open and hold the chest, Doyen, Matson, Semb and Alexander tools prepare the ribs, and Gemini, Diethrich, renal artery and DeBakey clamps and forceps control the vessels.

Inside the Tray

High-volume stock: 36 Hoff towel clamps, and 36 Lite Crile and Halsted mosquito forceps.
DeBakey range: atraumatic, multi-purpose, DeBakey-Derra and pediatric forceps.
Exposure: Kelly, Deaver, Zalkind ribbon, Volkmann, Gelpi and Senn retractors.
Five instrument trays (16 1/2" x 10" x 4") keep the set organized.
Sternal closure: a sternal wire twister and wire cutting scissors.
