The Haight pediatric Finochietto rib spreader is a rack-and-pinion chest retractor sized for children (30 x 30 x 90 mm), with a ratchet that locks the opening. It separates the ribs in thoracic surgery.

A Ratchet That Holds

The ratchet keeps the spread exactly where the surgeon sets it, so the exposure does not drift during the case. The pediatric size gives access without forcing the small chest wall.
