The Finochietto rib spreader (150 mm spread) is a self-holding retractor used to retract ribs in thoracic and abdominal surgery. Three sizes are available.

Stable Exposure of the Chest

A ratchet mechanism holds the retraction, so the surgeon keeps a stable field without an assistant. It is one of the most serviceable rib spreaders for intrathoracic surgery, and is practically indestructible.
